The Malibu Education Foundation (MEF) is separate from Santa Monica–based foundations and supports Malibu public schools only.

We fund essential staff and student programs across all Malibu schools — filling the gap between public funding and what it actually takes for students to thrive.

Our Commitment: $625,000 for Malibu Students This Year

This school year, the Malibu Education Foundation has committed to funding $625,000 in grants across all four Malibu public schools:

  • Webster Elementary

  • Malibu Elementary School

  • Malibu Middle School

  • Malibu High School

These grants fund critical staff roles and programs that would not otherwise exist, including:

  • Classroom aides

  • Tutors and intervention support

  • Coaches and athletic staff

  • Arts educators and enrichment programs

These are the people and programs that show up for students every day.

Why This Matters Now

Last school year, Malibu students experienced over 19 days of lost learning due to wildfires.

Additional staffing and instructional support are more essential than ever. Your donation helps students recover learning time, rebuild confidence, and continue to grow in a stable, supportive environment.
