INVEST IN MALIBU’S STUDENTS
The 2026–27 school year marks MEF's third year of operation in support of Malibu schools. We've already granted $1.5M to support staff and programs, and we're just getting started.
Together, we can create a world-class learning environment in Malibu's public schools.
This year, we're also building The Malibu Future Fund, comprised of two lasting endowments for Malibu public schools: The MEF Endowment and the Van Dyke Endowment for the Arts.

MEF is the only organization authorized to fund staff and staffed programs across all four Malibu schools. Your elementary school PTA and/or Malibu Middle & High School Shark Fund donations are equally important, please support both.
MEF fills the gap that the others cannot: centralized, multi-year funding for positions and programs that will help to define what a Malibu education can offer students.
An excellent example is Middle School Athletics, it was the very first program Malibu Education Foundation founded and funded when we launched in early 2024. It is now a thriving, 10+ sport, interscholastic program, and now funded by SMMUSD.

A monthly gift of $65 adds up to $780 by year end — and helps MEF plan and commit to programs with confidence.
PLANNED GIVING & ENDOWMENTS

An annual gift at any level funds the staff and programs Malibu students count on — instructional aides, arts teachers, academic support. Every dollar stays in Malibu.
