Celebrate Dick Van Dyke’s 100th Birthday

HELP A LEGEND BUILD A LEGACY

Dick Van Dyke turns 100 on December 13, 2025. To honor his extraordinary career and lifelong commitment to creativity, we invite supporters everywhere to join 100 for 100 — a national campaign calling on fans to donate $100 to The Van Dyke Endowment for the Arts.

This endowment ensures that students across Malibu’s public schools have access to theater, music, visual arts, performance, and the creative opportunities that shaped Dick’s own life, and inspired Arlene’s career.

The Van Dyke Endowment for the Arts was established in June 2024 at an event unveiling the Arlene & Dick Van Dyke Theater on the Malibu Middle and High School campuses. This event raised $200,000 to launch the endowment, which will support Visual and Performing Arts Programs across all four schools.

The endowment goal is $3,000,000, which will generate income to support Visual and Performing Arts programs across our four schools and help further expand the programs currently offered. Reaching this endowment goal will also enable the naming privilege to carry over to the new theater in the performing arts center when it is built.

Currently, the endowment interest contributes toward the $116,000 in Visual and Performing Arts grants provided by Malibu Education Foundation to our four schools.

These grants fund:

Year Round Art Teachers at both elementary school
A Musical Accompanist in Middle and High School for the performing arts to support plays and performance.

You can designate your donation directly to the Van Dyke Endowment for the Arts, and that amount will be invested to continue to grow the endowment.
