At the first, annual board meeting - open to the public - on Monday, June 2nd from 10-11:30 AM at the Malibu High School parent center the founding Executive Director, Karin Al-Hardan, provided an update on impact to date, and the following actions were taken:

• Updated bylaws were adopted

• Board Members were appointed for the 2025-2026 Term:

  • Karin Al-Hardan, President - 2 year term

  • Amber Vanderbilt, VP - 2 year term

  • Elena Eggers, Secretary - 1 year term

  • Ian Roven, Treasurer - 2 year term

  • Maggie Castle, Development - 1 year term

  • Jerel Taylor, Board Member - 1 year term

• Adopted the 2025-26 Budget

• Reviewed Board Member Expectations and Shared Advisory Board Agreement.

Directly following the meeting, a tour of the NEW Malibu High School Campus was given to attendees.
